To all those people searching for a great night's sleep, this is my
story of why I am now sleeping on a "Comfortaire" abed.
When I first came across Mark's "airbeddepot.com" Web address, I had almost given up on ever getting a good night's sleep again. About five years ago, my sleep pattern started to change. I was waking numerous times during the night, and in the morning, I was almost always stiff and sore in the lumbar region of my back. This would sometimes take up to half an hour to work itself out. Kate and I decided it was time to get rid of our old waterbed. We bought a top-of-the-line pocket coil mattress, hoping this would resolve my sleep problems. Unfortunately, my sleep and back troubles continued to get worse.
To make a long story short, since then, we have bought and sold 3
beds in our search for an uninterrupted, pain free night's sleep. I went to my doctor and a chiropractor to rule out medical and alignment problems and was told I had none. With two young children in the house, sleep is a necessity, and I wasn't getting any. I decided to try the Internet to see if I could find a solution. This is where I found Mark and the Comfortaire beds. I read through the entire Airbed Depot site, and what I read made a lot of sense so I decided to call and talk to Mark in person.
I admit I was more than a little nervous when it arrived. The whole idea of a bed-in-a-box was a bit scary but when I unpacked and started assembling the bed these feelings soon left. The quality and construction of the Comfortaire beds is excellent. It only took about 20 minutes to assemble and the fit and finish is second to none. The cover and quilting are beautiful Belgian Damask and the bed looked just like a very high quality conventional bed after I assembled it. However, the best was yet to come.
After my first night's sleep, I knew I had invested well. Although I still woke once or twice during the night, I remember having only a slight ache in my lower back when I awoke in the morning. Because of the dual controls, over the next few weeks, we were able to "fine tune" each side of the bed to meet our individual comfort level. It's been about 5 months now, and unless wakened by my children, I almost always sleep through the night and my back pain is a thing of the past. The air chambers just seem to support me in all the right areas.
I still hear from Mark periodically. He is a man who is genuinely concerned for his customers and doesn't spare time or expense to see that they are satisfied. When I first talked to Mark, he told me he would do everything he could to solve my sleep problems, and he did. I feel much better, have more energy and actually look forward to going to bed at night now.
To Mark and all the people at Comfortaire, please accept my many thanks for helping me with this sleep problem. Quality of life is everything and all of you have gone "beyond the call of duty" in your customer service and the quality and construction of your products.
MY QUALITY OF SLEEP HAS CERTAINLY IMPROVED!!!
